- We are happy to give away our fruit and vegetable peelings for you to use in your compost pile or
pet food. http://dogs.lovetoknow.com/wiki/Raw_Dog_Food_Recipes Come and pick up a bio-bag full—no need to empty it first. Just toss it on your compost pile and in a few weeks it will dissolve into a corn-starch based jelly!

“We think this is beautiful!”

We love GO-Biodisposables http://www.gobiosupplies.com
Before we even opened, we decided there was no way we could open a smoothie shop and introduce more plastic or Styrofoam cups into the environment. Even though it is more expensive to use these types of containers, we believe in the long run it will cost all of us even more not to use them. Recycling and using sustainable products is the only sane way to be good stewards of the planet God has given us.
All of our drinks and food come in compostable containers. These will disintegrate in a land fill in 90 days or in a home compost pile in a about 120 days (based on optimum conditions). The hot cups can also be recycled as paper products.

Living in a beach town makes us doubly aware of the impact that plastics and disposables have on our environment. San Francisco has already passed a law banning plastic grocery bags. The rest of California is slowly following suit.
FUEL wants to lead the way in environmentally conscious restaurant practices in the San Diego area. We hope other fast food restaurants; chain coffee shops and smoothie bars will sit up and take notice.
- When we designed the shop we really wanted to create a welcoming environment for our customers. We also wanted to try and use as many environmentally conscious materials as possible. Thanks to Kraig Nicolls, http://www.nicollsdesign.com/ we were made aware of 3-form.
Our waterwall, tables and sneeze guard are made from 3-form’s innovative recycled resin products. And best of all they look so cool!
